Overall, the visual experience immerses players in a haunting world that amplifies the tension and emotional depth of the narrative.
Scene Design
Set in a dilapidated residential building during the ghost month, the game’s backdrop is rich with
cultural references and eerie details. Each scene is designed to evoke a sense of dread, with
cluttered rooms, flickering lights, and ominous sounds contributing to the atmosphere. Players
navigate through these environments, interacting with various objects and uncovering layers of
the story. The carefully crafted backgrounds not only serve as a playground for exploration but
also reinforce the psychological themes, drawing players deeper into the unsettling narrative.
I chose many symbolic objects based on traditional Chinese culture, such as the eight trigrams
mirror and the protectors of Taoism. These elements fit into the background of the game while
conveying a mysterious and depressing atmosphere
